Every year during the Holidays I head down to Florida to visit my relatives. Â This is a great tradition (not just being around family) but I get to be in the sun and get my vitamin D on.
During the Holidays many people stress themselves out about buying gifts, attending parties, or gaining weight. Â The Holidays are supposed to be ‘the most wonderful time of the year.’ Â Not a time to stress!
We shouldn’t try to be perfect all the time. Â (How boring?!)
What if I told you one of my favorite Holiday traditions is picking fresh lemons and oranges with my family and making Margaritas!
They are so delicious when you use fresh ingredients!
I  live by the 80-20 rule. 80% of the time I’m healthy and exercise and 20% of the time I do whatever I want.  (Lucky for me usually what I want is to treat my body with respect and love)
But I DON’T FRET or stress if I decide to enjoy a piece of chocolate or a alcoholic drink.  I chose to have it and I enjoy it.
I’m in control of my body and I’m making smart choices. Â It’s empowering instead of draining. Â Beating myself up only ends out causing more stress.
Relax and enjoy the Holidays!
Be Well,
