To continue where we left off on Monday…

How to Aid your body in the Prevention of Breast Cancer:

Know what you are putting on your skin!

Did you know that your skin is the largest organ in your body?!  Many people often forget this.  Everything we put on our skin gets quickly sucked up and absorbed into our blood stream.

Caring for your skin is caring for your entire body.

This is why it’s so important to know what is in the soaps, lotions, and make-up you are putting on your skin!

Dr. Mercola from Dr. Mercola.com suggests to not put anything on your skin that you wouldn’t be willing to eat.

You should be aware and knowledgeable of what you put on your skin.  I recommend only high quality natural ingredients!

Drink lots of properly filtered water

The guideline for knowing how much water you need to drink in a day is to divide your body weight in half, this is the number of ounces you should drink in a day.  Example:  150 lbs should drink 75 ounces of water a day!

How many of us actually do this?!

Water is your body’s principal chemical component and makes up about 60 percent of your body weight.  Every system in our body depends on water.  Water helps flush toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells, and aids in digestion.

As you can see, water is one of the most important factors in maintaining a healthy life but it can also be the cause for disease.  This is why it’s so important to drink filtered water!  Studies have linked breast cancer to plastic water bottles because they contain BPA.

The healthiest way to drink water on the go is to invest in a glass water bottle since there in no metal leakage (nickel from sinless steal or aluminum) and no BPA from plastic.  Glass is the cleanest way to go for our beverages.  Check out www.lifefactory.com for great bottles!

Above are 2 Breast Cancer risk factors that we are in control of!  Show your body you love and support it by using natural products and drinking properly filtered water.  These acts of self-love can save your life.

Stay tuned to learn about an amazing exercise program that was developed by 2 awesome people and about supplements.

Be Well,
